In 2017 EDMH received funding from the Victorian Government for a redevelopment of its Aged Care Facility.
The project involves relocating the current nursing home to join onto the Lakes Hostel.
Currently, the Nursing home and Hostel are currently situated at opposite ends of the hospital.
This provides a number of benefits not only for residents allowing them to ‘age in place’, but also to staffing.
The project is near completion and we are planning for resident to move in on Monday 29th November, with the offical opening date to be announced.
If you have any comments or concerns please email the EDMH General Services Manager, Andrew Saunders andrews@edmh.org.au.
