Credentialed Diabetes Educators are healthcare practitioners qualified to provide client-centred approach to diabetes education and care, empower clients and assist them in dealing with daily self-management, in accordance with the National Standards of practice for Diabetes Educator.
To provide our community with the access to education and information on Diabetes the Edenhope District Memorial Hospital has a Credentialed Diabetes Educator.
The diabetes educator is available to see clients on an outpatient basis in the Edenhope Hospital Medical Clinic.
