Physiotherapy Service Update

To all those people attending physiotherapy services at Edenhope and District memorial Hospital this is a quick update about the new precautions in place due to the COVID pandemic.

  • Clients are asked to wait in their car before their appointment until they receive a call to come to the physio room or are collected by the physiotherapist.
  • A screening tool will be completed over the phone including travel in the past 15 days and if you are currently symptomatic, this declaration will be signed upon completion.
  • A temperature check will be completed on arrival at the door. If it is above 37.5 degree you will be ask to return home and reschedule your appointment .
  • Masks will now be worn by all clients and practitioners during the treatment session and treatment sessions are to go for no longer than 30 minutes.

Individuals that are unwell or display cold or flu like symptoms should reschedule their appointment

Individuals that have traveled to Melbourne or known hot spots in the last 15 days should consider rescheduling their appointments as a precaution.

If you wish to speak with Ellie regarding an ongoing issue but do not require face to face treatment telehealth and phone consultations are encouraged.

We employ our own physiotherapist Ellie Middleton who is on site every Wednesday and every second Friday
