New faces to the hospital and commmunity

We have a few new faces around the hospital.

Meet registered nurse Meera, who joined the nursing team recently.

Meera and her husband Gopa moved to Edenhope two weeks ago.  Meera and Gopa are from the south of India, the state of Kerala.

Meera studied nursing and competed her masters in nursing in India, and then nursed for 3 years before travelling to Australia.

The past 6 months Meera has spent time in Melbourne completing the bridging program to allow her to nurse in Australia.

Gopa, who has his masters in Marketing and has 5 years’ experience as a sales manager hopes to find work locally.

Both Gopa and Meera were attracted to Edenhope as they like small communities.

“We have been amazed by the experience so far” said Gopa, “the birds and lakes, everything, it is wonderful”

We, along with the community welcomes these new residents and if you see them around say hello!
