Edenhope Primary Health team continue to deliver

Whilst some organisations have put staff on leave, closed programs and shut down.  The Edenhope & District Memorial Hospital Primary Health team have taken the COVID-19 pandemic from a different angle. 

“When restrictions first came in and we were told that we were no longer able to run the day program, the team and the community were devastated.” said Primary Health Manager Robyn Salt.

“The day program for some is the only social contact that they have with their friends, and initially we had no idea how long this pandemic would continue”.

EDMH urges the community to wear a face mask to help protect our vulnerable

EDMH CEO Andrew Saunders thanks the community for your patience and compliance with COVID 19 restrictions to our facility.

“In the past few weeks we’ve seen an increase in the number of COVID19 cases in Victoria, and more recently there have been confirmed cases in Horsham. “ said Andrew.

“The Victorian government has mandated that all people working in Aged Care are to wear a face mask.   All staff at EDMH are now required to wear a mask whilst at the facility.”
