EDMH releases 2018 Calendar & Quality Account

This week Edenhope and District Memorial Hospital launched their 2018 Quality Account Report and calendar.

Every year the Department of Health requires that health providers publicly report on the quality and safety of the services it provides.

“Last year we produced the report in the form of an annual calendar which was provided to every household in the area.  A great deal of positive feedback was received so we decided to do this again” said Debra Taylor, EDMH Quality & Risk Co-ordinator.

“There are a few improvements we have made to this years calendar and we have included a lot more information about what has been happening at the hospital and the services that we provide. The back page of the calendar is a go to for all the services available and how to access them.”

“In August we put out a call through our facebook page for photographs of the local area to be included in the calendar.  We received a terrific response and were delighted with some of the photos that were submitted.”

“we must make special mention and thank Matthew Munro for the cover photo who was asked if he would specially take the aerial shot of the Hospital with the lake in the background.”

The calendar is being distributed to Edenhope & district households this week through the mail, so keep an eye out for your copy.  If you don’t receive a copy they are available at the hospital.  Please call in and collect one.

EDMH would love to hear what you think about the calendar and any ideas that you might have for next year would be welcomed.  There is a feedback form in calendar or we would be happy to receive comments, complaints or suggestions via email debrat@edmh.org.au.
